Palace opening!
Kyoto Imperial Palace open days will start tomorrow according to schedule, April 6th. However, the events of gagaku the traditional shinto music and kemarithe old styled football game will be cancelled because of the current disaster in Tohoku.
It would be a nice and sensible way of enjoying spring, means not too be amusement. To stroll a royal garden while learning a long history of Kyoto and seeing the pretty sakura trees would also release yourself from a kind of sad feeling, big fear and some disappointments etc.
April 6th ~ 10th, 9:00-15:00, free, application unnecessary
