Kyoto life Blogs

GTK would like to introduce the real Kyoto life by GTK bloggers. Some of them migrated from their countries
to Kyoto, and want to share how to enjoy the Kyoto life. These blogs are quite useful for visiting Kyoto, and also
for people who hope to live in Japan.

Sakura in Ninna-ji Temple

I visited Omuro-Ninna-ji Temple to see the unique and famous sakura called Omuro-zakura yesterday. This kind of sakura is shorter than usual and blooms late, in the middle of April.
The back building of the right photo is 5-stage-pagoda of Ninna-ji. It’s a typical photo scene with temple and sakura.
I enjoyed it in a festive atmosphere. I’m looking for the new season of the new leaves.
