Karuta play for learning the Way of Tea
What are people in photo above doing? Do you know it?
They are playing karuta to know about the Way of Tea, named Chanoyu Karuta in Japanese.
This karuta is bilingual in English and Japanese, so it would be nice not only for learning the Way of Tea but also for learning Japanese for non-Japanese people.
Actually they, friends of mine, enjoyed karuta and got many cards, and won!
