HOKUSAI Exhibition -the 250th anniversary

This exhibition features Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) who was a popular artist of Ukiyoe in the Edo era. His famous works “Fugaku-sanjurokkei” -36 images of Mt. Fuji will be displayed this time. Works with images of Mt. Fuji by other artists in the same era, such as Kuniyoshi etc. will also be displayed. It would be a good opportunity to enjoy the Ukiyoe world.
