About 2500 Japanese lanterns between Higashiyama-sanjo and the Kiyomizu Temple area will lead you to a visionary world. You can enjoy several events such as photography with maiko and geiko, ikebana Japanese flower arrangements, Japanese buto performance etc. Seven famous temples and shrine located in this area will be lighted up at night time. (Kiyomizu Temple, Kodai-ji Temple, Hokan-ji Pagoda, Entoku-in Temple, Shoren-in Temple, Chion-in Temple and Yasaka Shrine)
