Mibu Kyogen

This traditional and exciting performance held at the Mibu-dera Temple’s ground is famous throughout Japan. The performers wear masks and perform a kind of mime with exaggerated gestures.
Mibu kyogen is held 5 performances a day from 13:00-17:00.
Take Kyoto City bus no.26 or 28 and get off at Mibudera-michi stop.
