July 19th (sun) & 20th (mon, holiday)

Motomiya-sai Festival

This shrine is famous for good fortune in business, as well as its tunnel of countless red Shinto gates leading up the mountain. On 19th, a lot of lanterns will be lit and light up the traditional Shinto shrine.

This shrine is also the start point of the Kyoto Circuit Trail.
