Sake Festival

The Fushimi area, about 15 minutes train-ride to the south of the Kyoto station area, is the historical sake brewing district. When you stroll in this area with the distinctive white walls of sake breweries, you can enjoy the sweet malt scent of sake. The cedar ball decoration at the entrance of each brewery is the symbol of a real brewery.
On this day, there is a sake festival which you can enjoy tasting some fresh new sake and other sake products.

Access: 10 minutes walk from Momoyamagoryo Station on Keihan line

  • 11:00-15:00
  • Fushimi sake center
  • ¥300 if you try tasting sake.
