and has been maintaining its tradition with the coming of the new age.
Here GTK'd like to introduce the monthly art highlights, museums, creators etc.

“HOKUSAI” -the 250th anniversary of Hokusai’s Birth: Masterpieces from the Honolulu Academy of Arts

This exhibition features Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) who was a popular artist of Ukiyoe in the Edo era. 6 kinds of picture scrolls including his famous works “Fugaku-sanjurokkei” (36 views of Mt. Fuji) will be displayed.
