Mitsumasa Anno (86 yrs-old) is a famous painter whose picture books, landscape paintings and illustrations for books are very familiar to Japanese people.
In this exhibition, his watercolor paintings with images of temples, festivals and landscapes in Kyoto are mainly being displayed. The works he painted in his travels of Japan are also being exhibited. You can see the Japanese culture and tradition in his heart-warming paintings.
