Japanese Painting Exhibition
This exhibition is held to commemorate the 70th year of the foundation of the Kyoto Japanese painting Association, and also the renewal of this museum.
The Kyoto Japanese painting Association was established by Takeuchi Seiho, Hashimoto Kansetsu and other famous Japanese painters in 1941. It is currently organized by about 550 painters.
This time, 23 great works by the founders and 430 new works are displayed.
