The Summer Exhibition of Netsuke art
Netsuke are special accessories for pilcases or tobacco pouches which are hung from the obi sashs of kimono. This exhibition features the netsuke artist, Abe Yuko who has been creating mainly ivory netsuke and personal seal engravings.
You can enjoy the elaborate skill and beauty of netsuke in a traditional Japanese setting which used to be a gorgeous samurai estate.
