Here GTK'd like to introduce the monthly art highlights, museums, creators etc.

“Kirie” Paper Cutting Exhibition by Shu KUBO


Shu KUBO, born in 1951, is a famous “kirie” artist. He cuts “washi” Japanese paper and makes kirie with original technique using some materials such as pastel, acrylic paint, cloths and sometimes sand. In this exhibition, about 150 works including the images of Kyoto, Japanese cuisine and four seasons will be displayed.

  • June 21st ~ July 16th, 10:00-20:00 everyday
  • EKI Museum KYOTO
  • ¥900/adult, ¥700/university and high school students, ¥500/junior high and elementary school students
