Netsuke are special accessories for pilcases or tobacco pouches which are hung from the obi sashs of kimono.
This exhibition features the netsuke artist, Yoka MUKAIDA who has been creating mainly netsuke with motifs of figures and animals.
You can enjoy the elaborate skill and beauty of netsuke in a traditional Japanese setting which used to be a gorgeous samurai estate.
