Taiko Hanami Gyoretsu Procession

Daigo-ji Temple is the best temple to see cherry trees in the west part of Kyoto City. About 150 people dressed in costumes of 16th century re-enact a cherry blossoms party held by famous Shogun “Toyotomi Hideyoshi” at 13:00-15:00. The event will be cancelled in the case of rain.
Take subway Tozai line and get off at Daigo Station. http://www.daigoji.or.jp/index_e.html
