Paper-Cutting Exhibition by Imamura Mitsuhiko

This exhibition features the paper-cutting works with images of insects, plants and nature scenes, created by Imamura Mitsuhiko. He is a nature photographer as well as a paper-cutting artist. He creates the works with only one pair of scissors. Examples include : insects’ antennae, patterns from wings of birds and insects and veins of leaves, all of which are amazingly minute in detail.
It is a good chance to see about 200 works of his at this museum located next to Kyoto Station.
