Arts & Performances

Kyoto is a birth place of traditional arts, crafts and performances of Japan,
and has been maintaining its tradition with the coming of the new age.
Here GTK'd like to introduce the monthly art highlights, museums, creators etc.

René Magritte

This exhibition is a retrospective of René Magritte (1898 -1967), known as the great master of Surrealism in the 20th century. The unique world of his works defied conventional notions of action, thinking, time and even gravity. This will be one of the most comprehensive Magritte exhibitions ever held, and will display about 130 works from art museums and private collections in more than ten countries.
