The masterpieces of Mt.Fuji
Mt.Fuji, the highest mountain in Japan, has been expressed on various paintings and poems with its magnificent and beautiful images.
It also could be said that this mountain has been respected as a symbol of worship and extraordinary beauty.
As a result of the appreciation, Mt.Fuji was registered as the World Cultural Heritage in 2013.
This time about 43 masterpieces with this mountain painted by modern artists including famous painters of Japanese painting, Yokoyama Taikan and Takeuchi Seiho are being displayed.
- June 18th ~ July 20th, 10:00-20:00 on everyday.
