The Inca Empire Revealed: Century After the Machu Picchu “Discovery”
Machu Picchu is a 15th-century Inca site, located in the Andes of Peru. It was “discovered” in 1911 by American explorer Hiram Bingham.
Because of its “discovery”, knowledge of the Inca spread around the world.
Now it is one of the most attractive sites for tourists in the world. However, its history and details of the civilization are not all clarified yet.
In this exhibition, the mysterious world of the Inca including the excavated articles, arts, images of buildings etc. is being introduced.
A theater to show a 3D reproduction of Machu Picchu is also featured in the museum.
